Pricing details for Ireland were revealed last night on the Apple website.
With prices starting at €699 for an iPhone 6 with a 4.7 inch display and 16GB of storage, stretching to €999 for an iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.5 inch display and 128GB of storage.
Hmmmm! Just don't drop it, keep away from anything wet & get insurance! Crikey! probably will need a security chain to attach to the hip in case somebody tries to fleece it in the pub etc.

In fairness who needs 128GB storage on a phone? I've 4s with only 8GB and I'm fine with it. Plus most people buy their phone with contracts, guess it'll be free with vodafone red for example.
I use their products, never let me down, but only need new phone if old one died...etc.
Pricing is usual 5s was the same price when it first appeared!

Id say it means 128gb possible to upgrade to (when you buy extra memory card) not what the phone has available when you. oh just remembered iphone dont have expandable cards so what u buy youre stuck with that capacity so they are doing it to compete with the other brands that have 128gb upgradable storage capacity. who needs it you say? people who want lots of movies on their phone!
why would they not use a laptop for that you say? convenience.
large stupid phone or average sized phone and a laptop, your choice

You really don't like iphones do you. They're not for everyone I will give you that, but they are the easiest phone I have every used. Storage wise 64gb is more than enough, if you need more you have numerous cloud storage options.

Use my phone mainly as a phone don't have tones of useless aps, just the ones I use everyday, whatsapp, viber...etc. but guess everyone has different needs alright
Will see if 4s will work with ios8 if not i'd rather opt for 5s instead the new ones, prefer the smaller size myself 4' do it for me perfectly don't need 4'7
