An independent Scotland?

Question is I hear, would they ever be considered truly independent when they seem adamant to keep the currency, ie the Queen's Head

Well they're in the EU like us. Is any European nation independent other than Germany, and even they answer to the USA?

They are but can't see them ever accepting the euro currency especially now it very weak compared to sterling, they want independence but want to keep the sterling currency too.
