Do you want that person to challenge you ? If so, than maybe it's a yes.

I can't help you Kate. I'm equally clueless on the matter. However I do know a fair bit about infatuation and self delusion. The problem with that however, and your original question, is that they're so subjective that what I know would probably be useless to you. If you catch my drift.
In other words, I don't think anybody really knows what true love is until they've experienced the loss of a loved one in one form or another. All you do is go for it and find out.

It's a long story and far too personal to go into on here, but no not really. I was a teenager when I met my ex and I got carried away on the ride and then something life threatening happened and things got taken out of my hands. That's about as much as I can say really. I won't get married again.

It's purely a subjective feeling...trying to define it is pointless. And unfortunately it's like the common cold..you catch it almost anywhere and there is no known cure

He does challenge me, He makes me smile, I feel happy, I get excited when I see a text or email from him. I could talk to him for hours without realising time was passing. We like the same food, he makes me feel feminine, he believes in me, he encourages me, he makes me laugh and he has made me cry. He's lovely to cuddle and a million other things.
Okay I know it's not lust, I can rule that out now. It's far more than that.
Rocker123. I've not known them very long, which is another reason why I'm not sure what I'm feeling. It's seems so intense, so quickly. I think the scenario you are talking about is too much too soon and my Son is still too young for me to move that far away, so no I wouldn't go to Australia, even if I was sure I was in love, because I have someone who has loved me unconditionally since the moment he was born who still needs me.
I would also think that if they were going to leave and go that far away, then they could not love me back and for me, I think true love is something that is reciprocated and shared. It belongs to two people and not one.

I've never been in love. But I'm told it feels like diarrhoea of the heart.
