Thread: The Best Live Band

  1. #21

Default The ones you expect to be good aint always!!

Guns N Roses slane 1992 were SHITE!. Faith No More (Supporting act) were tons better. On a more recent note Springsteen in Dublin this May and Aerosmith(anytime anyplace) brilliant.True test of genuine talent gotta be if a band can sound as good live as they do on an album and be able to throw a lil entertainment in for the crowd too.

I think yourself and Liz would make a nice couple. The way you both argue over anything. It's like any marriage around the country.

BBJ mentioned Rory Gallagher my fellow county man. I was too young to see him live unfortunately. A very talented man.

Went to see Simple Minds in croke park in '86.. they were brutal.. Waterboys played support and they were amazing as was Llyod Cole & the commotions, in Tua Nua were pretty hot too...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7x25XyFxdA

Best gig musically was The Eagles in The rds a few years ago.. Hell freezes over tour..great atmosphere..

but for entertainment wacko Jacko in the rds was amazing..pity he is suck a freak..
