OK so I haven't read all 19 pages, so I'll stick to the original question...simple answer yes, but the client does not stay a client. I have many friends and some of them are escorts. With those girls it is understood we do not sleep with each other in case it blurs the waters, furthermore I would not contact them and expect them to give of their time without being paid for their time. Does the fact that I won't be responsible for taking up time they could use to earn money without compensating them mean that we aren't friends....of course not, it means I respect the business they are in, however if the situation arises they need help, or whatever there is no question as a friend I will come running.

It is perhaps better to examine the motivation of friendship rather than the definition, so I'll let you into what motivates me, knowing that I can be there for someone if they need me, knowing that they will return that favour if needed too, knowing that my presence, real or virtual can put a smile on their face and might just turn their day around, as their presence does for me too.
