Wow that is a shame. 'Sheena is a Punk Rocker' was one of the first singles I ever bought. Great band. RIP Tommy.

Worth remembering that American Punk was a significantly different tradition - Patty Smith, Television, The Heartbreakers, The Neon Boys....with their origins in the example of Iggy Pop and the New York Dolls. Most of the key bands formed in 1974-75.
