How do you choose who you can talk to freely with and who you have to be careful what you say with?

Guys, have you confided your hobby to anyone and if so, what made you feel it was a risk worth taking? Where you right, or has it changed the dynamics of the friendship?

Escorts (male and female), does anyone outside of clients and fellow Escorts know about your inner most secrets? Can you tell them literally anything and they won't judge you?

I have one person in England who knows what I do and I don't really have much contact with them now I live over here. I miss that, he would listen to me talk about the things going on in my life and just look at me as to say, 'only you!!!' but still love me for being me.

Here in Ireland I have made a few special friends that I have confided in, but they were/are also clients, so it's more of a 'joint trust', as we have to trust each other with our secrets, as we both have them.

Talking about luxury on a different thread, it occurred to me that talking freely for me (and possibly many others on this forum), is a real luxury and something that I very much value. Life can be awfully hard without someone to be natural and yourself with, even when things are going good.

Do you have someone like this? If not, how do you contain your secrets? Has it ever bitten you on the bum to confide in someone, who doesn't share a similar secret?

I don't trust many people as I have been let down so many times by people who I thought were my friends.

There are a couple of ladies on here who I would confide some stuff in — there was one who I confided in a lot and she also confided in me.

It is a two way trust issue.

I have to say there is no one I talk to completely freely, no one I am close enough to. Women are definitely much better at being open with people than men.

Thinking about it now actually I would say I have probably been more open with escorts than anyone else, there is a certain anonymity and the mutual trust you mention.

Nope, just being pragmatic. Everyone has 1 or 2 real friends they confide in, unfortunately they aren't always the same people so by telling them something I don't want anyone to know I run the risk they will confide in their other real friend and before long it's no longer a secret, unfortunately in this country we take gossip to a new level...

Well, I never tar everyone with the same brush but I probably have also been hanging out with the wrong people as well!

I never seem to get it right! I have been let down by so many people in my life and it wasn't that I expected to much from them but I find people just want to take advantage!

I have had a couple of people who I would have called very close friends and so many have gone out of their way to either take advantage of me or just fook me up for no apparent reason There was even one escort who I let my guard down with and she had a good go at taking advantage of me!

I keep trying to believe that not everyone is out to get me but it is not easy to place trust in people! I have one good friend who I would really confide in and a second who would come close..... but that's it!

I think I'm lucky to have two friends in my life!

My two cents on this. My friends have nearly always been female and for better or worse, many of them have confided in me over the years. Although in many cases we've lost touch, those confidences will never be betrayed and I'm immensely proud that so many ladies have trusted me with their innermost secrets.

We all need someone to share our thoughts and fears, to offer advice or just be there to listen. When we meet someone prepared to do so and prepared to reciprocate, it is a wonderful thing and not to be taken lightly.

anon361 is right in that there are many bastards and bitches out there and sometimes we make wrong choices, but trusting no-one can make the world a very difficult and lonely place. I've had a couple of bad experiences but they're easily outweighed by the good ones and I have very few regrets.

Since I began visiting escorts, two of these ladies have become friends and confidantes. I also have two other close friends who know I visit escorts and far from judging, are happy for me and know how much I've improved as a person as a result. Having their approval and trust is a huge deal and seals our friendship.

If the confidence to confide and trust is not present, then in my opinion a true friendship does not exist.
