    Just read that Eli Wallach has died at 98.

    I remember seeing him in many westerns when I was a child. Incredible actor, always was good at playing the villain, although he is best remembered for his role in "The Magnificent Seven".

    He was a really good actor. He absolutely MADE the main scene in the graveyard in The Good the Bad and the Ugly. He was the only actor in the underachieving Godfather III to match Pacino - his death scene in that film is just so memorable and deft. He was a really good character actor.
