Smile What does happiness mean to you?

Today on the Escort-England blog they have shared a video that they have said is "the most touching video you will ever see" and, after watching it, I can say it has definitely got me thinking.

So go ahead, go and watch the video, and then tell me:

What does happiness mean to you?

For me it is having cash . I know it's not the most politically correct answer but it allows me to provide for my family , enjoy my hobbies not needing to worry about my bank balance . seeing my wife and kids happy is good, and then if I can help a random stranger I will .
Life's good get out and do it .

Happiness means to me being there for a loved one -- even if not called.

Happiness means being able to drop everything in my life to tend to one who is in need.

Happiness to me means seeing the unadulterated absolute joy on my loved one's face at my unexpected arrival.

Happiness to me means to find her in much better health than I have feared.

Happiness to me means spending hours in their company , hanging on their every word ; in them having so much to tell !

Happiness to me means after having hauled two of my nurtured and flourishing and dear-to-my-heart flower boxes through

airports and airplanes and cross country drives , to arrive and have them and my effort appreciated in the most subtlest ways ,

just a simple Thank You with a smile , while she has me put them boxes where she will be able to see them best.

Happiness to me means to have such a person in my life , to be unconditionally accepted and loved , to not have the slightest

shadow darken our few years knowing eachother.

Happiness to me means to be able to help , to bring a smile , to lend a helping hand and be able to have a 'wide open heart' ,

to take her little doggie that I had given her many years ago , for a run , because she cannot ; to take her to Mass because

she wants to say a prayer for a grandchild taking school exams , and to listen to her tell of life and ......

can you feel my happiness ? xx
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” John Lennon

Happiness comes from accepting who you are. What you can do and what you cannot. You can only be who you are and you cannot be what you are not.
