Leinster will need their best performance of the season. Their indifferent form all season is not helping. You just can turn it on

like you would a tap. They need to start well. Goes without saying that all the basics need to be performed to 100%. Alot of

teams when they play in france hope for a good start but doesn't happen and suddenly the french team has a stranglehold on

the match. Hopefully they can win however Toulon may just able to handle everything Leinster can throw at them.

Read where Saracens had Jim McGuinness ex Donegal manager and now Celtic in for a talk recently. Seemingly they were very impressed by him.

Leinster lose by five points after 100 minutes. Two tries scored in extra time (one for each side).

Overall a good performance but Leinster just don't have the attacking edge they had a few years ago. Given the situation in the Pro 12 it looks like Leinsters season is just about over I think.

We really need Sexton back next season to get back to some decent attacking rugby.

Very good performance from the Leinster pack but that's all they had

Gopperth and Madigan not good enough for this level.

Leinster threw everything at it and came up short. Their best performance of the season.

2 points stand out for me at this stage with regard them

1 is the lack of cutting edge in attack and the 2nd is the poor strength in depth in terms of performance that they have in terms of the panel they have outside the first 20 players.

Working on these could bring back the glory days for the boys in blue.

ian madigan just cant get it to the next level (excl his kicking) - a bit tragic he is not easily defining his game - good runner good passer good kicker but parts are greater than the sume

Clermont need to shake off their runners up label. They may be ahead at the final whistle. An interesting aspect to the final will be what the attendance is. A half full Twickenham would look very bad for Europe's premier rugby competition.

Heavy price indeed. No matter what the sport taking the right option at the right time is key.
Toulon the better team. Clermont only played in flashes.
Less than two thirds full Twickenham looked bad.
At the presentation of the trophy it was the Clermont streamers that were released not the Toulon ones. Could be described as a shambles.
