I must also give respect to all those putting in the hours today, particularly bar/pub/hotel staff. They have to deal with a very busy and hectic day, easily the busiest of the year, and do it with a smile in the face of drunk wasters. I used to work as a doorman myself, and working Paddy's was definitely NOT my favourite day to work. But at least everyone gets paid holiday rates!
