    Drivers' numbers
Note: Under a new rule, drivers pick their preferred race numbers. If there was a clash, priority went to the driver placed higher in the 2013 championship.

As world champion, Sebastian Vettel has exercised his right to use one in 2014 and has picked five for rest of his career.

Alonso, who was runner-up to Vettel in 2013, has chosen 14 because he used it during his teenage years in karting and he considers it lucky.

The famously unemotional Raikkonen said he picked seven because "it's the number I already had last year and I saw no reason to change it".

Button asked for 22 because it was the number on his Brawn car when he won his sole world title in 2009.

The full 2014 F1 entry list is as follows, with the drivers' race number listed first:

1 Sebastian Vettel (Ger) Red Bull-Renault
3 Daniel Ricciardo (Aus) Red Bull-Renault
    44 Lewis Hamilton (GB) Mercedes
    6 Nico Rosberg (Ger) Mercedes
    14 Fernando Alonso (Spa) Ferrari
    7 Kimi Raikkonen (Fin) Ferrari
    8 Romain Grosjean (Fra) Lotus-Renault
    13 Pastor Maldonado (Ven) Lotus-Renault
    22 Jenson Button (GB) McLaren-Mercedes
    20 Kevin Magnussen (Den) McLaren-Mercedes
27 Nico Hulkenberg (Ger) Force India-Mercedes
11 Sergio Perez (Mex) Force India-Mercedes
    99 Adrian Sutil (Ger) Sauber-Ferrari
    21 Esteban Gutierrez (Mex) Sauber-Ferrari
    25 J ean-Eric Vergne (Fra) Toro Rosso-Renault
26 Daniil Kvyat (Rus) Toro Rosso-Renault
    19 Felipe Massa (Bra) Williams-Mercedes

Does at the moment. Seb looks unlikely to get his fifth title in a row on present form.
Renault engines seem to be having the worst of the unreliability problems.

I wouldn't put it past Red Bull for them to correct the faults and have a competitive car a few races in, but currently the new car looks slow and unreliable.

Still hate DRS it's such a stupid system, last seaon i stopped watching after the half way when RB started to dominate again. Hope Kimi and Alonso wipe the floor with Vettel this year.

Pre-season testing can be an unreliable indicator of true form.

But reliability looks like it will be an issue for all the teams.
Not only does the complexity of the engines lead to unreliability, but makes the engines much harder and time consuming to fix when something does go wrong.

At the moment there appears to be a pecking order in both reliability and speed.

Mercedes engines which power Mercedes, Williams, Force India and McLaren look the best.

Ferrari which powers Ferrari, Sauber and Marussia are a clear second.

Renault are in a poor third place at present. Renault power Lotus, Caterham and Toro Rosso, and of course last years runaway champions, Red Bull.

Most teams will have an upgrade package for the first race, but still it looks like it will be an interesting season when the 65th Formula One Season starts in Australia in Melbourne, with testing/qualifying on 14-15 March, and the race on the 16 March.
