    Default E-I in five years

With the constant campaigns from the TORL ETC..will it eventually come to pass that escorting/sextrade in ireland be a thing of the past, will there even be an e-i come five years or will things stay the same the as they are currently.

I would have to agree with you there,i would say enjoy it while it lasts because 'changin' is a comin' and to a degree it has to change whether to make it legal and treat it as a profession or continue to ignore even if it the minority that some girls that do come to this country are trafficked.

EI and escorting as we know it will evolve...

God bless EI and all who sail in her.

EI is a clever animal, if changin is a comin' then she will change along with it.
It might just look and feel different!

But has it just come down to a choice of either a or b,with the almost weekly stories in the tabloids and i knowthey are hardly the pillars of truth eventually someone in government will have the balls to bring this to national attention and say it is time to change.

With the Europe wide tolerance of the sex trade our leaders may be inclined to show them how enlightened we are here now .. The bailout is complete and we're ready to show them all the new Ireland .. TORL etc might not have as much clout as they think they have .
E-I will still be here, though it might have a new name by then following a massive €3.7 billion takeover by Google .

One thing for this site has def grown since i last posted on here about a year and a half ago so the recession hasn't really hurt it and seems one of the few things that have thrived. A lot more activity on the forums than from what i remember the dozen or so that were regular posters.

Yes too easy to score political points. But it is hard to predict what will happen in 5 years. If something else takes their attention they will concentrate on it and forget EI.

If they can shut down EI they wont stop there. What will their next target be?

EI is a victim of its own success. Everyone knows about it. Not just the punters and the escorts.
I agree with AML, need to appreciate it while it is here.

The other problem is that we are spoilt for choice. Too many escorts and not enough of us to make it worthwhile for all of them.
