I agree that there is an element of bullying on this site, and this thread is a perfect example of this

However I say this at the expense of getting my ass booted off here.

If we're saying that the rules are being broken and the correct procedures are not being followed to discipline or punish the individuals. Then the problem is not the posters, but the moderation of the forum.
Because it is human nature to push the boundaries of any rules that we are given, weather that is on a Internet forum or in the real world, and while this behaviour is allowed to happen it will only get worse until it is stamped out by implementing the rules.

I'm not having a person dig a management here, I'm just hi-lighting what other posters have hinted at by stating "its one rule for one and another rule for others".

I was actually trying to be helpful in my reply to you, but there you go.

I was bullied, physically, when I was younger, and it did get to me mentally for a while also.
I had to stand up to my bullies if I was to ever be able to get on in life, and I did.

What goes on here is mild in comparison to what some people have to endure on a daily basis,
    in the big, bad, world
    .
Bullying is bullying no matter where it happens or how intense it is and anyone in authority that allows it to happen is no better than the bully themselves, I've experienced this with a child of my own where the school did not want to do anything because they bully was the child of an important person (not anymore but that's another story) in the locality.

I believe that the underlying issues lies in that of all those people that are alleged 'victims' of bullying are dishing out their fair share of bullying too. Ridiculous! You are all supposed to be adults. Also, for those of you not privy, half of these issues are carried over from snide remarks and bitching from other websites, so we only see half the story. There are also clients defending their 'favourite' escorts not knowing that they are as equally guilty in this mix, and likewise, escorts defending their regulars. People, you don't know the half of the bitching that goes on behind the public face between escorts.

As adults, you are often urged by the moderation team to report issues rather than retaliate to them. As soon as you retaliate, you are extending and adding to the problem and are no longer 'victims', but instigators. If there is no mod online when the issue occurs, wait until there is a mod online. This excuse that someone is 'defending' themselves doesn't wash either. Offence is not the best defence, defence is the best defence; you don't incriminate yourself if you bite your tongue and be patient.

Lastly, and this is the most important point, this concept of bullying is actually caused by people baiting for sport. The popcorn smileys and memes are posted and other members aggravate the situation, and people fall for it hook, line and sinker. People take comments too personally and have subtle, snide remarks in new threads and even in their adverts as of late.

My words here will fall on many a deaf ear, and truth be told, many log in for the drama. The trolls come out to play with their accounts having a little dig at people involved in these dramas.

This will never stop for one simple reason; people love the drama. That's the problem.

Yes, the moderation is the blame. Do you realise have many emails, phone calls and private messages my team and I receive about these issues? Guess what? They are all from both parties claiming how they are the victims and how were are supposed to be omniscient and know that there is more going on behind the scenes, and most of these problems are off this website. People forget that we moderate this website; we cannot deal with matters that happen in real life or things said on another website, although it does give us some context, but this usually involves baiting someone on one website and then playing the victim on this one when the argument is brought across. Will banning them for a while fix things? Will it fuck. Growing up will resolve these issues.

And ironically, a whole community blaming one person and this is a thread about bullying? Wow!
