little bit of advise needed

ok i have known this girl for a bout 2 yrs now not very well but like from a distance but in the last 4-5 weeks i have got a major major crush on her i have always liked her but the last few weeks she is all i can think of but im absolutely terrified to ask her out or something lol mainly to the fact we both work very close and c each almost every day and if she turned me down i would probably get so embarrassed every time i see her sometimes she stops and chats other times not but always a smile and a wave hello from her even if she is a good distance away from me when she waves hello maby i am reading the wrong signals but i have never had many relationships and luck over the fact that i am a fairly quite guy
