34 "Verified" - when did this start? Is it good or not?

Just saw a green tab with a tick and "verified" beside
an advertisers age, never saw this before, is it new?
flicked open a couple more and did not see again, perhaps
they havent got around to it yet.
OK on surface seems like an obvious good idea, produce
a Birth Cert, no would need photo ID like PP etc and punters
are reassured... But is there not an older principal
in society, that has stood the test of time, a Lady
does not have to divulge her true age! I know some
Ladies on this site who are openly amused when
you mention the age they have on their profile, and
more power to them, they keep in better trim
than I do !! What think you all? is this just another
example of intrusive data mining overriding (?) traditional
ettiquette and manners?

Its up to the ladies themselves if they want their age verified , some I believe find it useful but not something they MUST do

No huge problem when the escort looks her stated age. Not great when she doesn't.

Its more important that she looks like the girl in the photos then age on her profile.
