I don't think people should be able to swear whenever they want. I just don't want the federal government making laws about swearing. We should trust people's own instincts about what is appropriate in any given situation.

Swearing is industry language. For as long as we're alive it's not going to change. You've got to be boisterous to get results.

People use to think it funny that I didnt swear, damn or damnit were my go to words when things went wrong, still dont swear much but it happens from time to time.
I know exactly what you mean. Even now sometimes people ask me to swear when I'm working and when I say it, it just sounds so wrong!!!! Then they ask me to repeat it, because they think it sounds funny. Apparently I swear in a posh way lol. I can not say the C word. The word will not pass my lips. I am still adding to my vocab and actually it can be quite exhilarating, but I still say 'ouch' before a swear word

I get it ... use of "fuck" and "fucking" "cunt" "bastard" etc is normal.

Would be pleasant to be in the company of a person who uses "fuck" in every sentence? I dont think so, not for me anyway.
