Thanks for all your comments. QPH, that sounds fucked up, at least I took my head out of the sand & visited the Doc. Hopefully I'll not be conscious & there'll be plenty of drugs involved.
It's not a question of whether I should have it done but when.Without going into too much detail I just have to have it done. Excrutiating pain just trying to pull it back for a gypsies or shower.
Then on Friday our wonderful HSE write to me & tell me to wait until March '09 to see the consultant. I'll be fucked if I'm waiting until then to get this sorted.
