I like tattoos if they reflect the personality of the person and have some meaning, some thing unique to them, but not so keen on the generic stuff. Having said that I do like tribal/Celtic art, so that can look very nice on men.

I've worked at some tattoo shows such as the Mantra in Cheltenham and I love watching the artists at work and that is exactly what they are. Some of the best tattooist in the world working away. If I had ever found something that reflected who I was I would have had one, but I'm too indecisive and never had that eureka moment.

I'm not so keen on too much mind, one or two classy tattoos is quite enough. Start covering the whole body and you can't concentrate on getting down and dirty, as you're too busy trying to check out whats on the body.
