Does it matter to the Escort the age of the client and does the divide by 2 and add 7 unwritten rule apply ie Client 56 should only see Escorts 35 and over. I am 30 so I would not see an Escort under 22.

No..........
That formula is meant for dating, not I think for escorts.

The so-called unwritten rule seems pretty arbitrary to me. When people turns 18 in this country, the full rights and responsibilities of an adult apply to them. As long as all parties are above the age of consent and of sound mind, then I can see no logical or ethical reason to restrict their sex lives. One is perfectly entitled to have personal standards of taste and decorum in this area, but he/she should not expect everyone else to abide by them.
Incidentally, and on a somewhat controversial note, I've always found it hypocritical of our society to have wildly different ages of consent and criminal responsibility, which, in Ireland, are 17 years of age and 12 years of age respectively. I mean, why are young teenagers mature enough to be prosecuted for a criminal offence yet at the same time too immature to consent to sexual relations? Most of the people who were demanding that the 10-year-old killers of James Bulger be tried as adults would have baulked at according them the other rights and responsibilities an adult enjoys, such as the right to vote or the right to leave school.
But when it boils down to it, either young teenagers are legally responsible for their own actions or they are not. In either case, it seems to me that both the age of consent and the age of criminal responsibility ought to be equal. However, this presents a dilemma: we cannot set this age-limit at 16 or 17, for this would allow young teenagers to break the law with impunity; but setting the age-limit at 12 would leave youngsters more vulnerable to exploitation or abuse by predatory adults. A possible solution would be to set the age-limit at 12, but to prosecute any adult over the age of 18 who had sex with someone under the age of 16. There would almost certainly be problems with this too, though. Anyone got any better ideas?
(Damn! Now my head hurts. Thanks for nothing, brain!)

I would've thought of the "divide by 2 and add 7" rule as only being advice for dating a girl (or guy). What would your friends and family think is socially acceptable and not a guide for choosing an escort.
You'll find that the age on a profile can sometimes be more of a ballpark. Which doesn't bother me as age isn't high on my priority list. Plus with one or two exceptions I tend to find that the ladies working as escorts are more mature, confident and worldly wise than the average girl you might meet on a night out, of the same age.
