congrats on gettinga new puppy.
I got a dog last year and she is now one of the best things in my life, she always has a super welcome for me when i get home even if i was just gone 15 mins.

I have a boxer and they are a bit hiper at the best of times. you will have to put up with a lot of barking at the start as i did when it came to bed time i would put her in her bed and close the door and then go to bed myself, it almost broke my hart to hear her backing at night but i knew is was not good to go down and into the room, it took abouyt 2 weeks for her to stop barking at night and realy did break my hart but now it is no problem as she just goes to bed no prob now.

i was lucky as she was toilet trained when i got her but she was very sick as she was left for dead and abboned now she is in full healt and also keeps me a bit healter as i have to walk her every day at least 1.5 miles and on my days off i bring her to the beach for a good run around.

you must make shure that she knows you are the boss as dogs are pack anamiles and have a peeking order.

I am so excited just got a small puppy..is so cute and lovely...any advices about training her ...good vet in dublin or anything else that can help me it's more than welcome... as a start i really need to teach her to stay alone and not to barg to much

A good advice when you leave your puppy alone,always leave the tv on,the noise will calm her down!

Dogs are social animals and puppies do not like being alone , maybe get the puppy used to the radio being on leave plenty of "chew toys" to play with .
As for toilet training you will need plenty old newspapers , you could try train the pup to go in a cat litter tray.
