That is not completely true. I've met very confident men while working and that is because they are either in a relationship that has something missing, but not enough to warrant ending the relationship, or they are in very intense jobs and don't have the time, energy or inclination to go chasing women in clubs. Celticden you do have a very negative view on life. Sex is a perfectly normal part of life and if for what ever reason you feel the need for it, but don't want to upset someone else, lie or make false promises to them in order to have it when you want it, without or the hassle of finding someone who you are attracted to in the real world, is makes perfect sense to find someone you are attracted to this way, pay them the money, have the fun and then carry on with the rest of your life where it left off.
