Anyway, back to the real state of play.

The original intention (of the committee) was to have me in as an "Uncle Tom", because I am easy to invalidate as not representative.

I gave that up:

• To fight for true inclusion for sex workers
• Because the very idea made me need to vomit

Ruhama brought in two survivors so SWAI were allowed to bring in two escorts, this was a foregone decision even before the conference (I can't be the only person who knows that?)

Right up to Wednesday lunchtime I was fighting to get two Irish sex workers to also be heard in their own right, WITHOUT the "intercession" of a wannabe NGO, because this is NOT TRUE INCLUSION and consultation for sex workers at all...it's just two "Uncle Toms" for show instead of one...and the only Irish "sex workers" (who are the ones that count) were brought in by Ruhama...

Its like watching bickering children. Do you think this actually helps the image of escorting ?
Earlier in the thread we had Kate stating that it would be good if escorts worked together on this. Yeah right, i now share your disillusionment Kate.
Who cares if Rachel wants to become a TV wannabe, at least she and Steph met face to face with the committee which at least has to be something positive.
I thought the whole point of this was that clients were going to be criminalised.
