Ipads

Hy everyone

I was thinking to buy an Ipad maybe the new one with retina display...probably because i am thinking i can get rid of my laptop

any advice...good sides and bad sites... can the ipads replace the laptop...?

Being able to update IOS directly from the ipad takes most of the need to own a laptop away. I doubt Tablets will replace laptops just yet. I'd still hang onto a laptop, I find booking flights etc easier on a laptop than a tablet.

Alexa, iPads are great, I have one and use it all the time! However, don't get rid of your laptop, you will still need it, as the iPad doesn't do everything a laptop does...

I think you may still need laptop for your EI account, it works better for transferring files, especially photo's...

I'm with Jimmy Bond here.... my tablet is great for browsing, but a computer is better to get the most out of the website, especially for sharing media and manipulating images for comedy purposes

Totally agree ipad is great for videos, ebooks browsing, but defo cant swap a laptop for ipad or any tablet!
