and im sorry, the old lads whom i served in a bar where not drunk leaving few pints drive home slow, on a quite road they know well

there not ones imho causing accidents, and to be frank, they be doing it a long long time 2 or 3 pints over a few hours and drive home slow,

there nights ive gone home form work and i wudnt meet a sinner empty roads,

there nothing in the rural commuities really, and isolation is very easy, and sucide is becomming a big result of it,

Surely all this is pure hokem......sure they can't just start issuing drink driver permits for Kerry now (just coz 2 Healy-Rae's & troika of publicians say so)
Does'nt this have to be passed at the Dail (Shatter et al), and if it was (coz it has to be political suicide to pass this) then isn't it applicable to be taken up by all other councils around the country???

Unlike lets say the US where they can pass local/state laws independent of federal involvment......

While I agree with you on suicde SAO and the disavantages of rural living,these morons are using it for their own ends,votes,if they wanted to do something they could hire a mini bus ,sadly the custom of calling to peoples houses in the country is gone,nowadays its the thives that does that.
