Ah ! You just beat me to it !!
At Tesco, out of 27 samples 10 contained horse DNA. Other samples tested positive for pork as well.
Apparently Aldi , Lidle and other stores are also affected. It was said that it was the lower end products that
were contaminated. No health risk has been mentioned, and they promise to look into it.

I recently saw some footage on YouTube , depicting horse slaughter.
Owning and riding and loving a horse myself, I found it horrific.
When you look into a horse's eyes , there is intelligence and a soul ..
(cows too can break your heart, we are just more used to them being food.).
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.
Just goes to show
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them a burger.

Funny that u should say that because i saw an interview recently by Ruby Walsh who is one of the top jump jockeys in the world and he was asked a very similar question, this guy is dealing with horses all day everyday they are his life and he said
in his opinion at the end of the day horses were a herd animal and he didnt think they possesed any extra intelligence relative
to other animals.I thought it was very intresting as this guy has ridden some of the best ever horses over fences and he didnt
seem to think that there was a special bond or connection just about being able to exert ure authority over the animal
Blatant promotion should be outlawed

They should investigate chicken burgers as well,i saw them being made once in a factory and they were crushing down the bones as well as the meat and making the burgers,so if you eat them your swallowing the bones as well.
