How is congratulating someone dampening a fire, pray tell? The point remains, certain people don't like Lilian's opinion and so she is being pilloried. It makes it all a but senseless, don't you think? Unless of course you are only allowed to voice an opinion if it fits, in which case that makes you equal to that you protest against, no?

I have not posted on these boards for a long time but I feel compelled to do so now.
You state you don't work in the Republic yet you criticize Rachel who does work here. If you want to get involved here do so. You say you are only interested because it might affect your profession in another juristiction. I suggest you confine your interest, as well as your work, to those juristictions.
As for suggesting that a young lady like Rachel, because she dressed in jeans and a jumper, the same as thousands of other girls her age all over the world is stereotyping escorts is so stupid as to be unbelievable. In every town in Ireland every day young women are dressed in jeans, leggings, tights under shorts etc. Are you suggesting they are all prostitutes because they dress like that. Are you saying a young lady with a skirt three or four incches above her knee with four inch heels looks less like a prostitute ?

I think a lot of people need to realise that just because people are not doing so publicly etc doesn't mean they are not doing anything.

There seems to be a lot of individuals who think that unless one is open on a public board about what they are doing they must be doing nothing. This is wrong. I know many ladies who are active and working hard. Myself included. However personally I would rather do it quietly if it means my identity will be compromised.

This is no tar on the ladies that are able to be open etc I just feel that those who would rather not have congratulations threads are possibly being overlooked.

I've been watching the development of this issue with great interest, though have never had reason to post before.

Anyway, just want to congratulate LBT and Rachel.

Tbh, I didn't see anything wrong with the clothes Rachel was wearing. I understand how it would be prudent to wear something "respectable" but I thought she wore fairly normal clothing.

In any case, don't see why people are still arguing about it. Point has been made...

We have street workers in Ireland as well, part of the sex trade,dont forget. Those escorts you want in front of the camera , in nice Versace dress , Gucci bag and D&G sun glasses , are not charging Gucci rates nor some opt for not explicit reviews.

On a tv show , I agree with a nice dress, make up etc .. on the street, in cold and rain, walking as a normal person, dressed as one, makes more difference and people will see me as one person more, not a prostitute.

How many ladies go to the shop in fancy shoes and tight jeans?! Every single person know what her work is, by looking at her.
