Its correct , I wouldnt need to give a ratsass about laws in Ireland since I dont work there anyway , but you know what , I do for the fact that if this goes wrong in Ireland other countries might follow the example and that can not be aloud !
I do care just for the fact that it involves people that make their living in the same way I do !
I move my ass for this course as much as you do , just in a different way , so please leave your insults if you dont know facts .

I'll have you know my mink ain't tacky lol
The point I was trying to make in that post of mine (mentioning fur) , is that Lillian seems to have a dislike for Rach,
and so she's picking at her . I am fairly certain she ain't got a shine to me either, and so if I went on TV (and by all
means you won't see my bum !) , I wanted to know what she would get at.
Point being, if you try hard enough, you can find fault with anything, anyone. The girls did a great job, and it's a true shame
that that single solitary person just couldn't abide by their achievement and the bit of attention they were getting.
Reflects poorly on the one sniping and not on the lass wearing everyday clothes, who stood fast and delivered the goods
with a camera shoved in her face. Who amongst us could've / would've been able to do the same ?
As to Rachel having been portrayed to represent the street walkers and not the escorts... Ha. That stings.
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

First of all, congrats to both Rachel and La Belle for standing out for what they believe in !!!
Dress code or no dress code … The idea is everybody can dress however they want and if Rachel needed to travel to get there, of course she didn’t have a lot of time to prepare outfits, going for whatever she feels comfortable wearing when outside.
I would have personally chosen a skirt suit , with the skirt above the knees and a very fitting jacket and yes, some comfy high heels, in order to show I’m really comfortable with myself and I want to be SEEN in order to be heard.
Leaving the outfit jokes now, based on 5:30 pm clip, I can comment on:
- The 2 ladies standing in front of that government building with that A4 printouts covering their faces was a very brave thing to do. BUT, I am asking, do you realize how more convincing this would have been on the news if 10 – 20 escorts would have been there? I know many of us would not go in front of a camera, for whatever reasons but how sure are you that really others would not have joined? I NEVER SEEN ANY EMAIL INVITATION OR THREAD MENTIONING THIS MEETING. THE SAME WHEN THE CONFERENCE WAS TAKING PLACE. If there threads about this, my apologies, I don’t read everything on the forums but if there really weren’t any, there should have been. A lot of escorts being seen there would have made much more believable the idea that they stand for the majority of all escorts, 2 ladies only from which one only actively escorting could be easily criticized as being just a fluke of opinion, just an attempt to get more exposure and so on.
- I haven’t seen that later show and it seems it hasn’t been aired at all, maybe this was more detailed and more factual, but for me, what was said in the clips shown on the news, there was nothing new and also the arguments picked there were not of the highest rank: don’t take away work from desperate women (like really, we want to show that escorting is a matter of personal choice, not something to feel pity about) and don’t criminalise sex buyers as escorting will go even deeper underground (true but not the top argument in my opinion). Still, someone like myself was very familiar with those topics, for someone new watching, those may be as well very convincing opinions, so the idea of "educating" the masses still nicely done in my opinion.
In conclusion, just a quick recap … I don’t know how many chances like this we’ll have to voice our opinion directly to the entire population of Ireland, so it would have gone better if everything would have been more organized. More ladies there, even if most of them would not get to be interviewed directly, more facts & figures when bringing arguments of decriminalising. That being said, Rachel and La Belle were certainly very brave, did a good job and their TV appearance is probably the top spot moment so far in the effort of not having the sweedish model introduced.

All I did was try and explain where I thought El Gordo was coming from, I have no interest in all your internal cat fights and any disagreements escorts have with each other. To be perfectly honest I don't give a s**t what you both may think of Lillian or what she thinks of you.
I was given a bit of advice in my mid teens by my father that I think sums up this thread and pretty much most of what I have read on this site since becoming a member "Don't try to understand women. Women understand women and they hate each other".
