There have been reports of touring escorts turning up in a new town and being flooded with clients who all have fake notes. The local pimp having decided to run them out of town by sending his mates round.

You may have noticed that escorts often leave the room for a moment when you pay. A lot will take that opportunity to check the notes with a testing kit.

Sadly the place is full of them at the moment, mainly twenties,I guess you would be more careful of higher value notes.

Got caught out once when I worked part time in a shop many many years ago. It was a 50 euro note and I had to replace it with a real one out of my own pocket

I have been caught once with a fake 50 Euro note, yes.
The guy did it on purpose anyway.

I teared it up and binned it, no point in trying to pass it on to someone else, since it's illegal and can put people out of pocket anytime it's being used.
