We need more information out there. This will not kill you, won't even make you sick as such. But can be unsightly

An excellent post Stephanie. While cold sores are not a life threatening complaint in themselves (as far as I am aware but I may stand corrected) they are sore, uncomfortable, annoying and REALLY UGLY!

While that's bad enough for the general public, getting a cold sore means [B]no work and no income for an escort for approximately a week[/B].

Any client turning up with a cold sore should be shown the door with no apology.

It's surprising how often you do have to do the health education bit. You would think if you noticed something they would be geniunely surpised and at least not have noticed it before, but nope, most of the time it's... 'Oh yes it's been there for ages, but I didn't think anything of it!' Like what? You see Escorts and you have a strange wart like thing/spots/mark on yourself and you never thought to get it checked out????

I know it's embarrassing going to a doctor or clinic, but you are not the only person who could be affected by your ignorance and where something may not be irritating you, it could be full blown evil for someone else, plus spread like wild fire.

Some escorts might be happy to work around the coldsore, that's their choice. Tie and tease would work in that situation. At good that the escort can see the coldsore, it's a visual warning sign after all, and treat the person accordingly. It's a shame that all contagious infections don't have a visual indication of their presence, things would be a lot safer and more relaxed for everyone.
