Thanks Vanessa. However, as Saoirse has pointed out they appear to be targetting street prostitution which is illegal.
They can't really target indoor escorting as that isn't against the law at present. The only thing they can do is enact the brothel keeping law if more than two girls work together (which of course is a completely unfair law).
However, the recent North and South raids on "brothels" did not see any ladies in the south being charged with brothel keeping. Which suggests a change in the attitude of the gardai for the positive. Up North there were a few Polish ladies charged with brothel keeping - clearly the usual trumped up charge (and it reflects a certain fananticism on the part of the PSNI, I think).
However, the Limerick Gardai appear to have a grudge against escorting work in comparison to the Gardai in Dublin I feel. There always seems to be some sort of garda activity against sex work in Limerick. If you didn't know any better you'd think Limerick was the sex capital of Europe!!

They talk about girls working on the street, dont see anywhere on that article to be about girls working indoors.
In the other hand, I am an escort offering companionship and charge only for it, not for sexual services and if happens to have sex (hopefully) is because I want to and choose to do so...

What a country, people can be shot dead in front of children and the "force" see this as a priority, interesting that it is as a result of complaints from the "business community", in other words "money talks loudest " ...............

firstly those polish ladies where 3 very silly women
which is taking the fucking piss and secondly they swallowed sims, with obstruction
and why they got arrested, and eventually done,
others where left,
limerick issue is with street prostition and again where fair with ladies working together in the raids,
i can see why street prostition is been tackled, at high priorty meh, but the level of abuse on the street is higher
where u will find many more victims than us tucked up inside
sadly there too blinded by idioticy that repeating a costly operation every few months wnt work
