As some of you already know, very recently, an escort that advertises on this website hit another escort advertiser in the face with a blunt object, knocking out some of her teeth and apparently resulting in an expensive amount of dental repair work.

People have been posting 'not-so-subtle' comments about it all day, so I've decided to post this for public display for a couple of days.

We have been asked to intervene by posters, asking us to ban the attacker and remove certain posts promoting her. This is not something that we (E-I) will be getting involved with. If someone is violently assaulted, this is a matter for the gardai to deal with. We don't know the full details of this incident and we will not be speculating over it as this could dilute or hinder any legal intervention.

Just out of respect for people that have been hurt and upset by this, we don't think that posters should be posting stupid comments about it on the message boards or spreading rumours. Let the authorities deal with this. If people keep posting stupid threads about it, they will just be removed, and any continuation threads (including the 'Why was my post deleted' threads), this will be perceived as provocation and temporary bans will be implemented.

We hope that the injured escort recovers soon and we are sorry to hear of this. We also hope that the other escort involved will quickly learn that what she did was unacceptable and that the gardai will deal with this situation.
