Okay, the rule on second profiles is

Please do not use more than one account. We may turn a blind eye to people having multiple user IDs if we feel they have created an additional ID for comedy purposes only and it has caused no harm, but if we feel a user has created a duplicate ID for dishonourable purposes, the duplicated ID(s) will be banned and the user’s original ID may also be banned.

In essence, it would appear that a ban is a discretionary punishment which begs the question as to what constitutes "causing harm" and "dishonourable purposes", which would require an assessment of the posts of both Forrest's and dave1dave's other IDs rather than a simple random check and automatic ban.

I have nothing against the management or how they choose to administer their website. However, in the interests of avoiding repeated controversy perhaps this rule should be amended or particular posts adduced in future in order to ensure that it's use is transparent and fair.

I am not in favor of one lady with more than one profile, for the record.
Those who have multiple profiles do put up fake pictures. Well, lads, E-I has a good system to explain and show what the red x mark means and if the fellas dont bother to read it and go to see the lady is their choice. Then those lads complain, in the review, making a thread..well, tbh once the info is there why do they have to make a drama up their own stupidity? No wonder Sam is tired of it.
Are situations were fake pictures are verified, maybe the lady looks very much like the girl in the picture and/or a mistake from Ad Staff, dont think were many though and dealing with hundreds of profile on a daily basis is can not be easy.
Forrest was reporting profiles, yes, a warning could do in that case and I think he would stop doing it.

Okay, lets say a thread is up on warning section about an escort. Who will going to read it? Forum members and others who read the boards and are not registered. But not every single fella looking for a punt will going to look into the warning section, read 1 000 threads to see if the escort he wants to see had use fake pictures or has/had more than one profile and so on ...
Plus, in days/week it is all forgotten except if you develop some kind of obsession for profiles...

Are better things in life to be doing than looking for pictures/profiles as a member of any forum and this is a way to interact with potential clients and lovely escorts who try to make a living out of escorting.

In the other hand, as website advertiser,E-I has to look for the ones who pay them and for our clients, E-I gives as much as info possible...

Fake Pictures - If random people can search and find that the pictures being used are some well known model etc then why can't ad staff search, as the adverts are placed? This is nothing to do with they don't have time etc etc - the profiles are income for the sitem as you know so why would whether they have correct info on or not matter to ei? It's kind of like escorts only seeing gents who will confirm their name, address and wifes telephone number..... Not gonna happen as business would soon disappear.

Actually, add to that search telephone numbers that are being used one week by one lady, the next week by someone completely different. I don't believe a genuine independent would be sharing phone numbers as often as is proven to happen here - if at all! It's terrible business sense for an independent person to do that, as we get repeat business so sharing the numbers wouldn't be beneficial - unless the so-called independent ladies are part of a group. Which makes them an agency, I believe. Not independent as they'd like us to believe.

The easy way around all this is to check each picture via tinyeye etc as the escort submits them for her/his ad - before they are published on the site. Also, do the same with phone numbers. Don't allow picture changes without them being verified. Little red cross or not, they shouldn't be there if they're not the advertised person. It's not rocket science to do really. But it'd be bad for ei's revenue if this happened. We just have to put up and shut up. Something more and more people are having a problem with.

People developing an obsession for profiles - I wish more people did the same! It would mean that there were less escorts being exploited left, right and center by agencies which are illegal in Ireland anyway! The fake profiles can hide so many problems, including sexual exploitation of children. So they should always be there, making clients aware what the problems may be.

Not all clients read the boards, that's true but many do! If only one person is saved from trafficking, exploitation and abuse by these fakes being spotted then it was all worth it imo.

Also, why should we be paying for adverts in the independent section to compete with so many agencies/fakes/liars?

As always Alex, you have summed up the situation. It really shouldnt be the clients job to verify the authenticity of escorts, with the technology available its hardly rocket science.
Agree with WWW, there does seem to be a blackhole when posters do EI's work and flag profiles.
