Thread: Will the landscape change?

    Default Will the landscape change?

do people think the escort landscape will change if the legislation is changed? I think it probably will. If it is criminalised in any way there will be less escorts and less people willing to visit them. If it is made legal it will change as taxes will come into play. Any lady working legally will have to pay tax on their earnings. This will surely lead to an increase in the cost as currently with a black market prices can be lower. If prices go up then less people will visit which makes it less profitable for the ladies. This could be as good as it gets as regards suppliers and demanders...

if the zealots were to get their way? the landscape would change
from being a shitty, insular state to one of the most depressing, backward nations
    in the developed world!

I doubt anything will change for the users here.

I'm certain the landscape for men who are addicted to it, like The Legend would change:

Why can't certain organisations (you know who I mean) just accept the fact that this is the life we live (punters and escorts alike) and leave us to our own devices. Honestly, any of the girls I have visited from here were happy, friendly, intelligent and never gave me the impression that they were doing anything they didn't want to do.

That is what certain organisations (you know who I mean) would just love.

What will it take? Punters with placards?

Stop slagging off our great country!

In my view what will happen and what should happen is all down to politics and what can be sold to the 'decent' people.

Prostitution has a terrible image problem, and hardly anybody is willing to defend it publicly and correct the blatant misinformation put out by 'well meaning' people.

This same debate is happening in other countries too and it is all down to perceived trafficking / sex slavery , if this wasn't there, then no problem

If its criminalised there will be some way around it. if its legalised. taxes will be involved so we can write that off as an expenCE AND IF SHE ADDS VAT WE CAN CLAIM IT BACK
