I think I actually saw that TLC (???) special on Body Building and possible pitfalls. Dude has been injecting steroids and other
substances into his biceps for a while, it got infected, then (and this is shocking footage !) he tried to drain the infection himself,
using syringes etc. Gruesome sight. Had to be hospiatlized etc. I think it's the same guy.. in your link x
