they now have 650 pokemon!!! like in our day mewtwo and mew were so mysterious and awesome but with all these new pokemon they've diluted their awesome status

Nintendo will keep milking their #1 franchise till the end of time. Even if the new ones do look completely absurd.

What I do now is collect the original card sets that's my little hobby, I buy like 100s of cards off people some are in complete shit state others in amazing condition, I love sorting them all out!

Well nintendo have been critically acclaimed for their new games black and white, but yes honestly the new pokemon look awful and I feel nothing towards them, no emotional connection at all.

Nice to have hobbies! I still play the games Was never really into the cards. To be fair the new games look simply amazing, but you're dead right, the Pokémon look terrible.
