Actually..... all this talk of steak and burgers has gotten me quite peckish for a McDonald's. Christ haven't been there in ages! Definitely not since Christmas anyway. Although they pissed me royally off with all the forest land they've destroyed in S.America for farming use.
The meaning is in the words, and in peoples interpretation of them. Words mean different things to different people. World religions are built on it.

To return to the silly analogy : if you are used to eat on the run, you prob won't like much having to sit around for hours,

so LONGER is NOT necessarily BETTER.

Simples (in my own mind it was simple..) xx

Respect your own Comfort Zone is all. Whatever that may be .
To be honest, the analogy 'why have hamburger when you can have steak' is a widely renowned idiom, and I can understand why your reference was perceived as some sort of an 'escort class' issue. You may be flattered to know this, but since you came on the boards, your name 'Stephanie', for me, evokes elegance and eloquence. In terms of your own self-portrayal, I imagine this is a success on your part? However, personally, when I'm driving, I tend to keep my wits around people in German cars as they have more of a tendency to turn or pull-out in front of me without indicating, but I also associate these cars (Audis, BMWs, Mercedes) with high-class. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are all dangerous behind the wheel, but I like to err on the side of caution.

The point I am making here is everybody will read into things differently, and we all have different, personal associations with things in life depending on our personal experiences. I get that you like to articulate things in a poetic, intricate, intriguing, mysterious and cryptic manner, but in most cases, people will get either get the wrong end of the stick or read too much into things, so it's best to be clear. Besides, some blokes like to pay for thirty minutes because they know they will probably just blow their load within the first 15 and then they're on their merries without being out of pocket. It doesn't necessarily mean that one time-scale is better than another, it just depends on what the individual wants.

I can't explain it but when Stephanie made the analogy, if you really are to believe it was a mistake how do you explain how it was constructed, I swear there's like a technical term for this but the way she worded the analogy and proposed a sort of rhetorical question made less believable that it was a mistake on her part, it has a really nasty undertone to it, but I can't fudging explain it
