    Default Knighthood after the games?

As the games are winding down and looking at the success both organisation and athletes, who do you think could be in line for a knighthood in the 'New Years Honours List'?

Danny Boyle, Bradley Wiggins and David Beckham would be three I would put forward, do you agree or have any other nominations?

I can see the case for danny boyle, I can see the reason for wiggins, but really, beckham? Will they show consistency among the medal winners or will there be a hierarchy for the choosen few.

Beckham probably will get one but has to be the most over-rated footballer ever. He was just good, and very professional.
Still he probably deserves something for only getting caught cheating on that bag of bones of a wife once. Considering he could have anyone he wanted, his restraint is admirable
