Not trying to stir up anything here, but I just have to say as a point of fairness that I have in fact been directly asked numerous times over my years of punting whether I've got a wife or girlfriend. These questions weren't necessarily asked in any kind of probing or invasive way, they were just asked as a part of the normal before and/or after conversation. I usually do ask some basic questions when meeting a lady, as I imagine most lads do. It's simply a basic part of the interaction, at least for me. I try to keep it friendly and respectful, not trying to probe too deeply, and I've never directly (or indirectly) asked a lady if they're currently in a relationship, despite having been asked that exact thing several times over the years.

I've never been told by an escort I was chatting with before or after service that something I said or asked was too personal; perhaps I did inadvertently ask something they were uncomfortable in answering, and they simply told me a fake answer-- fair enough-- I know less than half of the ladies I've seen over the years are in fact from the country their profile states, and there's only one escort I've met whose REAL NAME I actually know, so I'm quite used to being lied to by women (both in and out of escorting), and that's just fine. I fully understand why you ladies want to keep your private lives PRIVATE AND SEPARATE, and I fully respect that, as ALL punters should.

I just want to put out there that there are escorts who have directly asked me if I'm in a relationship, and that if I or another punter were asked directly that way, we'd probably feel that we were within the boundaries of fairness to also ask the same question of the lady. Fair enough then if the lady would choose to lie or decline to answer on the grounds of privacy, I'm just saying that if someone asks me something specific and direct like that, that I and many other people might/would say it's fair enough to ask the same question back the other way. If you'd rather not lie or decline to answer, then don't ask in the first place. That goes for both punters and the ladies!

Fair point there West, and I understand the distiction you make between in-person and online questioning. But I'd still say that the same policy could probably be put in place, just like the U.S. Military's old policy of dealing with gays: 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'!! It's probably best if no one asks at all, whether it be in person or online. I fully acknowledge that the ladies undoubtedly get barrage with all sorts of personal and probing questions, and they certainly shounldn't be; but the same thing should be said going the other way, just out of fairness.
