    Yes mate done it regularly when I drove full time its no big deal mind you some guys that didn't do cross channel work made a pigs ear of it on a regular basis, try 100 ft beams or low loaders with oversize loads now that's a challenge

    Haven't worked with low loaders or oversize stuff yet, but it must take some serious skill to move those things.
    Drive rarely myself now, but still enjoy it even with some idiots on the roads

    I don't miss general transport to be honest always waiting to rush and rushing to wait at least with the abnormal stuff you work to a planed route and schedule much more organized. as for the idiots the escort vehicles can deal with them. Don't do much of the driving myself any more I get stuck with the paperwork and planning these days.

    Same here mate. Used to be in reefers - don't miss that at all! Panic transport at its best.

    The crowd I was with at the time done international groupage see Europe the hard way I only got into it be accident was working as a mechanic for them and covered a run for a driver who was sick and got stuck at it great experience at the same time.
