just to sum up where we are at the moment...
Had a similar issue last year with Malware from a rogue ticket sales site. This worked for me:
Re-start the computer in Safe Mode with Networking
Open web browser & go to http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and download the free version.
Install that on your computer & run a Quick Scan - should take about 15 - 20 minutes.
Once it finishes, it shows the results of the scan and you then remove them.
It re-starts the computer, and everything should be back to normal.
