Recently I have had two guys text me after being given my number by a woman during a night out. The guys thought they were getting their number and a potential date (poor guys). Both guys have been quite sweet, but it does make me laugh when they start chatting me up once they realise they have the wrong number.

Anyway, my point is... have you ever given out someone elses number to fob them off and did you know who's number you were giving them? I have a feeling who ever gave my number out knew that I was an Escort and thought it would be funny. Poor guys! lol.

Sadly I have been given the wrong number many times and I know of one particular woman(not lady) that I know who gives my number to guys she meets.
I try to be nice to these guys when they call or text and say, well yeah she's not a nice person. Genuinely though, some of those guys are creepy.
I myself have never given out a wrong number but in my experience women rarely take a number, they give it instead.

I've never been given a wrong number, but then I don't pester women so much as some people do, maybe.

I've had texts from guys pretending they didnt know I was an escort and that they have 'inadvertantly' sent the text to the wrong number. Do I believe it, not in a month of sundays, its such an old ruse I would be rather naive if I did.

In my eyes, giving out someone elses number is rather underhand and nasty. I would rather say I was not happy giving out my number and if the girl (woman) didnt want to give out HER number just what did the guys look like. Had they been hit by a few branches from the ugly tree. Unfortunately nowadays with mobile numbers we cant tell if it is someone from that area or someone from the other end of the country so there is no real way to find out who has done this dirty deed.

Frustrating maybe, but gives you a laugh too, though it is at the expense of the poor guys who have been duped which is rather sad, but thats life. Even when guys realise they have been duped they will try and salvage something out of the situation and chat 'the wrong person' up, hoping that it will lead somewhere, I think that is just the animal instinct in them.

I would not be happy to get calls like that so I would never give out a number that was in use,especially a business number.
