I'm with ya Shirley its gotten so dull here I barely post anymore, but imo it's been like this for ages. If you remove /ban most of the forum personalities who got discussions going and who actually had opinions they weren't afraid to voice then it's inevitable you'll be left with bland repetitive shite. People like Alec Horan, Anita Sizzle, Dannyboy, Monster, Techno Viking to name but a few. Franken used to have the occasional interesting tidbit from the States but he too bit the bullet at some point. I stopped reading this thread at page 3, as I think it IS the most boring thread I have ever read. (Sorry Shirley), but I don't understand the mentality of people who complain about a forum becoming boring when they make no attempt to spice it up themselves. All these people relying on others to entertain them. Since when has this place been about following others like sheep? Get your fingers out and start a thread that you think will be more interesting.
Diversity/variaty is the spice of life. There is nothing wrong with the current threads and they serve a purpose, but if they don't suit you... start a thread that does and stop complaining!

I agree with Shirley though, it seems like the forum is all about promotion and less conversation now. But these things have ebbs and flows.
Another reason many femmes may not be online posting is because they are ................................ dare I say WORKING.
As a relative newcomer to the site even I have noticed that although the site does not permit touting, there is still a lot of it going on, be it covertly or blatant and this puts me off reading many of the posts.
I do find the occasional interesting thread though and will add to it. As in all walks of life, people leave and new people join, it just takes a little while for the newcomers to settle in.
At the same time, I find it very interesting when people who have opposing views on a subject lock horns as it can make interesting reading and can sometimes infact make me think about something from a different angle.
I also noticed that not many people seem to use the chat rooms. I have gone in on a number of occasions and not a word has been spokennot even a 'good afternoon or a good evening.

You're right Shirls. I think bannings and infractions are liberally handed out and we're left with trash of various types. It's sad really because this site has a lot if interesting people with interesting thins to say ..... but they hold back
