    Have to be the Georgian period (1750s), love the decadence of the era, could put on a big wig and wear loud clothes and ponce around the place. It was also a period of great revolution in design, love Georgian architecture, influences and culture being brought in from around the world that had rarely been seen before.
    Mind...ok if you were rich, but appaling if you were poor. Also of course ignoring the dysentry, consumption and rampant syphilis

    It would have to be the second world war for me There was some fantastic engineering and reserch in aviation during that period would love to have being involved with something like that.

    Not too familiar with the specifics of that era, only know the main points of it
