I thought it was just a matter of time. But if you actually read the consultation document produced by the department of justice, it is incredibly balanced and informative. The people in the dept of justice actually are sensible people and can see through the TORL propanganda. In fact I am just going to base my submission on the things I agree with in the document.
Lads, we can all come out with an inordinate amount of shite on this forum! So it doesn't take too much time to pen a few lines and email it to the link posted above by Jack.
At the end of the day - politicians will make decisions based on what they think will bring them the most votes. Most of our escorts are foreign and non -voters. I don't think this fact is lost on the politicians. But if they see enough pro escorting submissions from voters (that us boys!) - they will be less likely to bow to the escorting abolition groups like Ruhama and TORL.
The document mentioned above shows the holes in the abolishinists arguments, so we don't have to reinvent the wheel! Just get off your arses and type a few lines.
