Gonorrhea doesn't just affect your who-ha that shit spreads like wildfire all over your body, into your eyes, back just everywhere.

My GP, who used to work in a GUM clinc, advised me that anyone who is sexually active, irrespective
of who they are sexually active with, be it escort/partner/casual relationship etc, should get regular
check-ups at least every 6 months or so.

She also told me if, for any reason, you were reluctant to go to the GUM clinic there are private clinics
providing the same service. The cost is roughly £200, and takes about an hour. So you could "miss out" on an
    appointment, and get a check-up.

OWO/CIM/RO all present certain risks to escort & client, so if you aren't comfortable
taking these risks - cover up or don't participate.

As the article Chutney attached shows, certain strains of STI's/STD's appear to be increasingly
common & more resistant to anti-biotics.

Ask yourself what's more important - your health or a "bit of fun"?
We're all grown adults & are responsible for our own health.

Been with 100 escorts. Never a problem
2 problems ever, pulled both from a nite club when drunk.
    They weren't escorts

Escorts are safe. More chance of being killed by a bus, IMO

Hep C is not transmitted through urine. It is almost always blood to blood. Contracting Hep c through sexual intercourse is also extremely rare but has been known to happen. The latest research is definite that blood to blood is really the only way of transmitting Hep C. A and B are different.

end of the day everything including kissing is a risk for something, a bit of cop on is expected
not to mention ecoli and all the bacteria,

at least urine is somewhat sterile, but i wudnt drink a bottle of anomina either

and yes before you jump me i do owo, and yes i know the risks

Avoid me then. I don't have an STI, but I have had one. I had gonorrhea about a year and a half ago. I got it from an escort. She gets tested regularly, but even an escort who is tested regularly will, on average, have seen a large number of clients since her last test, any of whom could be infected, and most STI's take some time before they show up in tests in any case. I let the escort in question know immediately and avoided sex until I had been treated and got the all clear from the clinic. Fortunately I hadn't seen anyone else in between.

I don't recall seeing many other posts from clients who admit to having had STI's, but I think that's less because it's rare than because most people are simply too cowardly to admit to it.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

I suppose embarrassment might be a factor when going along to a GUM clinic, especially in Ireland, where for decades nobody ever talked about sex - not even with their doctor. In the UK, finding a local GUM clinic is easy, outside Dublin, not so much.

The one time I did go for a checkup was in the UK a few years ago, and the place was like a train station at rush hour. They had a walk in clinic three mornings a week, and it was standing room only. At 34 years old, I was the oldest person there by far. Most were in their teens, with only a small number of twenty somethings, and no one apart from me was over the age of 30.

Which is a good sign when it comes to randy kids - they clearly don't suffer from the embarrassment or unconcern that many older people do.

As far as GUM clinics go in Ireland, it would be useful for someone to list them, because I wouldn't have any idea where to go here. Are they free like in England? Are they anonymous? Are appointments necessary? Do they exist outside Dublin? This would be more beneficial than talking about the risks, as it might actually lead to something.

    Good post Bill.

Sorry but I cant help as Im in Scotland and they are 10 a 1p here. Thank goodness. And thank goodness that I dont suffer embarrassment easily as I'm in my 50's and I too am always the oldest there. Do I worry what others think, not a chance, my health is more important than what anyone else thinks of me being there. They should be thinking the same as yourself. Better to get checks than NOT
