the point has been made already and a few has given the many a bad name.
ive been travelling for years and worked all over the world and this thread has brought back some of the the things said to me being irish.....
we like to fight ..we like to drink too much..we dont like to shower or take a bath...everyone knows the irish are stupid and the list goes on and on..im sure some of these points must be true for some people..
lol but amazing how a race of people are typecasted....but we are not the only ones im sure

Some sunday mornings I start work at 6am and the street cleaners are already at work cleaning up the mess from the saturday night drinkers,and the local canal is full of shopping trolleys from the same crowd.. I was visiting family in holland and the difference in cleanliness is staggering. Our reputation as a good time people comes with a big price tag.
