it was just sick to think they got away with it... just fuckin sick!
King was no angel.. but that beating was almost as disgraceful as the results of the court!
No disrespect meant, but i thought that was going to be the first line of a joke ..

Out of his face on angel dust and chivas regal at the time of the incident, appartently. High speed chase through a residential neighbourhood. His companions in the car all got out and accepted their arrest without a word of protest...
Think two of the cops were civilly prosecuted successfully (Eazy E of NWA famously advocated for the two them at the trial)
As Ed Nortons character Derek Vinyard pointed out in "American History X" if he had mowed down a little child would people be gettin so upset???

You have to feel sorry for the guy. He was kind of messed up before. Then he got a severe beating, got a lot of money in the settlement, and then lost all of it. A sad story from beginning to end.
