    my comment:
Not all sex-workers are victims, not all sex workers are women, not all sex-workers sleep with any man that phones them, the majority in ireland have dignity, are independent and choose there clients at there discretion and earn up to the average industrial wage working 3-4 hours a week, and they are organized,
they have a website in ireland and every other country on the planet, you people most of you don’t know what you are talking about, do some research seriously, there is a difference between a sex worker and a trafficked sex slave.

this woman: dam her, Doesn't she mean to say victims of the "human trafficking" industry.
Ruhama’s Gerardine Rowley said the cross-border operation was a new approach to helping victims of prostitution, who would be treated as witnesses.

    How to respond to this?

I don't think anyone anywhere can condone trafficking of a person. But more and more in the media all sex workers are treated as victims, as abuse survivors! I truly hope that the vast majority of women on here are independent, strong minded and doing this job as a choice rather than bing forced. Or is that just so I don't feel more guilty about possibly exploiting someone vulnerable?

Geraldine Rowley said exactly what every spokesperson for Ruhama has to say in order for them to continue their well disguised moralistic crusade against consenting adults in the sex industry. For their campaign to succeed they need everyone to hear, see, and believe only what suits their agenda. Anyone, such as yourself, who threatens their objectives by speaking up, has and will be silenced in various ways in case that policy makers and the general public start to see things as they really are.

Even if there was no trafficking at all, they would still be campaigning, they are implacable, and it is a waste of time for anyone to attempt to reason with them.

Lastly I'd like to say fair play to you for being brave enough to put up photos which show your face so clearly. Ruhama have capitalised greatly on the sex-worker's need for anonymity, the worst case scenario for them is someone willing to face them down on TV.

    All the best.
