Is it just me or is it really rude when men try to Haggle with the prices of escorts? I mean when you tell a guy your rates and they try to haggle them down am I right in thinking it is down right rude?

For example when speaking to a potential punter (who on fairness seemed quite nice and i believe he is) he asked my rate for an hour, I told him this. To which he replied 'no way' which was fine.

However he then proceeded to ask me to accept less than the stated rate because (in his words) He could get a great Russian girl for the lesser rate. I was then told that I was foolish 'in these economic times' to refuse the rate. Presuming that I was in this solely for the money and not for the fact that I choose to do this because I enjoy what I do.

Are we not entitled to charge what we feel out service is worth? men what do you think? do you haggle? Ladies do you think its acceptable?

I think it's not acceptable and the height of bad manners.

I would never deam of haggling. I was quite happy with the older rates that I normally still pay them. In fact I haggle in reverse.

That was worse than haggling, as he was also trying to devalue what you had to offer. I would have told him to enjoy his sexy russian and put the phone down.

It is annoying, but I think also a sign of the times. I guess some ladies must be up for haggling or they would not persist in trying.

In the past I tried being polite and deliver a witty answer, not anymore. I just tell them this is my price it isn't open to discussion. If they persist, I simply hang up the phone. Not going to get into a huff, I am not going to discuss it further than the stated price. Simples.

Haggling shows no respect and your probably better off telling whoever tries it to politely f**k off, if that lad could have gotten a "great Russian" girl for cheaper then why didn't he ? Cause he wanted a lady with class but didn't wanna pay the price !

I was going away on holidays last year, as I boarded the plane I noticed that the flightdeck door was open, I stuck my head inside and said to the Captain, 'no way, I can get there by train for a third of that price you guys are charging way too much' I didn't enjoy my holiday, locked in at home with the curtains closed so the neighbours would think I had left the country......Haggling is wrong. A hint to hagglers, the rates are normally there on the ladies advert page, scroll down and have a look, if they are more than you want to spend then move on.

It is rude and disrespectful.

Escorts provide a service but what a service! It is something special. An escort offers of herself.

So haggling is unacceptable. But unfortunately haggling is something that seems to have crept into Irish culture and many blokes can't seem to see the difference between the service an escort provides and some other routine paid service. There is no excuse for this and these fellas need to be re-educated. It's easy for me to say ladies, but I think if a guy starts to haggle, you should just put the phone down. Or if he's already there - just show him the door.

I believe (as do many other punters here) that escorting is a luxury. Therefore if you can't meet the price either go elsewhere or not at all. I'm not made of money, so if I can't afford a lady's fee, I won't go. Or more likely (if I really want to see her), I'll save to be able to meet her fee. (You'd be amazed how many meals a horny man can skip to get laid!!)

On a separate note some ladies I revisit have felt the need to drop their prices. I still pay them what they originally charged. They haven't changed their level of service to me, so I don't see why I should pay them any less.
